The Nitty Gritty

Contract Price

You will receive a quote for indicative pricing of your requested video project.   All items are estimates only and may be re-adjusted once a detailed scope or script is completed.   Where possible we will indicate this in a quote as necessary.

Any quotes are valid for a period of 14 days.

Once we have received written confirmation of your commission, we will ask you for 30% of our agreed fee to cover the upfront costs of production. Production will not commence until the monies are received.

IFD will maintain strict project and budget management over your project throughout its’ term.  We are happy to discuss at any time the project spend to date and can provide copies of time logs.

Should there be substantial changes to the project scope (additional scripting, travel, face to face meetings, filming hours, travel expenses or excess post production work) we will inform you and only once we have received approval will proceed.  The final invoice will be adjusted accordingly.

Reasonable production expenses such as parking or tolls may be added after the event. 

Payment

All invoices are inclusive of GST. Our payment terms are 14 days from issue of invoice. We welcome you to deposit the full amount owing via EFT into our nominated bank account clearly showing the invoice number.  We also accept credit card payments for invoices through Stripe.

Cancellations

Cancellations need to be made in writing.

Cancellations prior to 48 hrs of filming date will incur any pre-production costs to date.

Cancellations within 48 hrs of the filming date will incur pre-production costs plus 50% PRODUCTION/FILMING charge.

Cancellations within 24hrs of the filming date will incur pre-production costs plus 100% PRODUCTION/FILMING charge. 

We accept that life often gets in the way and are happy to reschedule planned filming given adequate notice (48 hours).

As part of our usual pre production process we keep a close eye on the weather and liaise with you to ensure it can go ahead.

Postponing a shoot with less than 24 hours may incur a cost equivalent to reasonable production costs incurred such as cost of crew, location hire etc.

PLI Insurance

Itchy Feet Digital are insured for Public and Products Liability (PLI) for  $20,000,000.

We are happy to provide a copy of our policy to you as part of the production.

Copyright and Licencing

All files, video footage and deliveries remain the legal copyright of Itchy Feet Digital Pty Ltd. YOU (our client) retain the legal copyright of the final video produced and delivered. 

Any usage in whole or part by agents or third parties without the express permission of Itchy Feet Digital Pty Ltd is prohibited. 

Any music used in the creation of your video is licensed in perpituity and should you wish we can provide you with a copy of the licence documentation.

Archiving Your Content

Digital download links will be provided for any commissioned work.  We recommend you download these files for permanant storage as we cannot guarantee you will be able to access these files in future.

All acquired raw footage will be available for use until delivery of final files. Access to raw footage and final files after that date can only be guaranteed if an archiving agreement has been arranged prior to delivery of final files.

A copy of the raw footage can be requested but there will be a small processing fee (usually an hourly charge) to create useable video files.  These will be supplied on a separate hard drive and a cost incurred and in some circumstances can be uploaded digitally (although this will be laborious for you downloading large files).
